This Halloween is on track to be the coldest since 2006, when the temperature only hit 36 degrees at its warmest. Trick or treaters will have to overcome the frights of Halloween as well as temperatures that could drop into the upper 20s tonight. In the past several years highs where in the 40s to 50s.
As someone who really likes Halloween it's really weird to see temperatures this low for one of my favorite holidays. It really puts a damper on certain Halloween activities. However, years ago there was a blizzard on Halloween! It was crazy. I work at a marina and we have pictures of the damage it did. Talk about a scary Halloween. It's cool to see you guys reporting on this, even though some people might not think temperatures are super important for Halloween. I bet they haven't been outside in that cold of weather though.
